Instead of using a power cable, the Bosch Athlet Serie 4 uses rechargeable batteries. More specifically, it uses 25.2V lithium-ion batteries. They offer a maximum of 60 minutes of continuous run time, which is more than enough for usual domestic usage. One feature of particular interest is the LED red-signal which lights up when the filter requires cleaning. Cleaning the filter when this light switches on ensures maximum performance, with a minimal amount of maintenance.
