Jashen V18 Review

The Jashen V18 Vacuum Cleaner is a cordless, high performance stick/hand-held appliance packed with modern features. It's suitable for hard floors, carpets, and is particularly effective at vacuuming stubborn pet hair. One of its more modern features is suction control. There are three modes - "normal" for standard cleaning, "max" for tougher dust/dirt and "automatic" which makes use of a dust sensor that makes its own judgement.

The floor head itself is wide and effective. There are two interchangeable brushes - one for hard floors and one for carpets. One feature not often found in similar vacuum cleaners is the LED digital display which shows the current power setting, the remaining run time and provides filter cleaning alerts. There's also a smart LED headlamp which has a sensor that decides when illumination is needed.

• Suitability - The Jashen V18 is suitable for laminate, vinyl, tile, marble, hardwood, linoleum, short/long pile carpets, and much more. It can also tackle pet hair. The vacuum cleaner switches between and upright stick and a hand-held easily.
• Accessories - The accessories include a large floor brush, a large carpet brush, a miniature motorised head, a 2-in-1 dusting brush and a crevice nozzle for tight spaces.
• Three Power Modes - The vacuum cleaner has three power modes - "normal", "maximum" and "automatic". Automatic uses a dust sensor to decide which power mode to set. The Jashen V18 has a 350W brushless motor.
• Cordless - The vacuum cleaner is cordless, giving it more scope and flexibility. It can also be taken and used well away from power sockets. It uses a 7 cell 25.2V lithium-ion battery. The run time is up to 40 minutes for the normal mode and 15 minutes for the maximum mode.
• LED Display - As mentioned above, there's an LED display which shows the power mode, the estimated run time remaining and filter clean alerts.
• LED Headlamp - There are sensor controlled LED headlamps to illuminate dark areas, e.g. underneath furniture. It also helps show up dust/dirt better.
• Fully Sealed Filtration System - The four stage filtration system is designed to keep dust/dirt inside. It captures up to 99.99% of fine dust.
